Description:
This is a self study course that will provide an overview of the documentation one will use as a construction inspector in Pennsylvania on a PennDOT project. This course is part of a series of TA-TCI self study modules intended for new inspectors with 0-1 year of experience on a PennDOT project.

Learning Objectives include:
-To explain the key documentation types and their functions on the project.
-To explain document management requirements on project sites.
-To describe audit trails and the ways in which key documents are related to one another.
-To list negative consequences of failing to document properly.

In order to receive credit for completion of the module, the participant must pass a final quiz built into the module and follow the instructions to submit their results to PennDOT. By agreeing to complete the course, the participant is self-certifying that they are the individual completing the modules, and they are not completing the modules on behalf of another individual.
